Whether away on business or pleasure, Le Fenix Sukhumvit is a hip and happening hotel. Designed by award-winning company Sachdev O’ Dell (SODA), this contemporary eight-storey hotel features 147 rooms with a unique vibe that creates a relaxed and refreshing atmosphere. In a prime location on Sukhumvit 11, Le Fenix is a short walk from Nana Skytrain station and surrounded by trendy bars and cool nightclubs like Q Bar and Bed Supperclub. All Sukhumvit Road’s shopping and entertainment spots are easily accessible.

The building impresses at first glance, with the entire structure covered by L-shaped windows, setting a bold and innovative tone, and reminiscent of contemporary German architecture. On entering, visitors are tempted by a quick stop at Flow Bar adjacent to the lobby. The strong design aesthetic continues as guests step into the lobby area on the second floor, where a minimalist white background contrasts with inviting red sofas. The long white desk next to the elevators is where guests can check in with help from efficient, English-speaking staff.

Le Fenix is located in the heart of Bangkok’s hotel and entertainment district on Sukumvit 11. The area is home to many of the city’s trendy and chilled nightlife spots. Q Bar, the New York-inspired nightclub is just across the street, and Bed Supperclub, host to some of the hottest parties, is just down the road. In addition, a multitude of bars, outdoor restaurants and convenience stores litter the street.

Only a ten-minute walk away, the Skytrain offers easy access to main shopping malls like Siam Centre, Siam Paragon and MBK, while the business and entertainment districts of Silom and Sathorn are just 15 minutes away. The interchange between underground (Sukhumvit) and Skytrain (Asoke) stations is just one stop away. The famous Emporium mall is just two stops away.

There are 147 rooms; 29 Superior Rooms and 118 Standard Rooms, both a spacious 24 square metres. There are two designated smoking floors, and one connection room on each floor. On entering the room, guests are greeted by an inviting, crisp white bed that leaves one automatically excited about your pending night’s sleep.

Interiors combine a seventies retro feel with minimalist chic,together with bold lighting that can be adjusted to suit your mood. Decent views of the area can be enjoyed through the customised L-shaped windows, while Superior Rooms have floor-to-ceiling glass panels. The blue mosaic tiling throughout the bathroom is complemented by a power shower and fragrant bathroom amenities.

The modern feel of the decor is matched by state-of-the-art equipment. All guestrooms feature a 32 inch LCD TV screen, cable and satellite TV channels, along with complimentary two-hour WiFi. Additional amenities provided for Superior Rooms include DVD players, iPOD docking stations, and iron and ironing broad – all worth paying a little extra for.
